Intermediate Oil Painting Workshop with Robert Bean - Focus on direct and indirect method of oil painting. In the direct approach, the type of painting used by the Impressionists will be studied. Color mixing and paint application will be the focus. In the indirect method, or glazing method, the most traditional approach used by the Old Masters will be taught, using an underpainting and transparent layers of color or glazes.
